Albert Rohrman of Swedesboro NJ passed away at home at the age of 86 years.
He was a life-resident of Swedesboro and graduated from Swedesboro High School Class of '37 as an outstanding athlete. He served in the U.S. Army Infantry in Europe during WWII and received the Combat Infantry Badge and 3 Bronze Stars. He was employed at the former Dilks Basket Factory in Swedesboro for 28 years and then became an operating engineer assistant at Mobil Oil Factory in Swedesboro retiring in 1983. Albert was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Swedesboro and the Gibbstown VFW.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Eleaner (nee Jacobson) his children Albert C. Jr. (Edith) of Gibbstown Eileen (Frank) Lynch of Clarksboro Karen (Mike) O'Lexy of Deptford. Two granddaughters two grandsons and two great-grandchildren. His brother George (Virginia) of Woodbury and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Kim and a brother John.
Funeral services will be 11am Monday Oct. 4 at The CHEEGA FUNERAL HOME 1329 Kings Hwy. Swedesboro NJ. Interment Lake Park Cemetery Swedesboro NJ. Friends may call at the funeral home Sun. eve 7 to 9pm and Mon. from 10am.
