Blames Walden or Auto Killing Of Mrs Dahlquist
M. Arvin Walden, 19 year old Chester youth, is held to have been criminally negligent in the accident at Centerbrook July 29, when Mrs. Doris Church Dahlquist of Chester lost her life. The 26 year old divorced wife of Valdemar Dahlquist and young Walden had been to a party in Deep River and took a ride to the shore to cool off before going to their homes. On the return trip Walden was driving the car so fast that he was unable to make the turn in Centerbrook, struck a store platform, a fence and tree, and Mrs. Dahlquist was thrown out and fatally injured, while he clung to the steering wheel and escaped serious harm. . . .
