      Mrs. Lydia E.G. Conklin died at the Guernsey homestead at Perry's Corners on the 16th inst, in her 78th year. All her life was spent in the town of North East. Three children survive to mourn her loss: a son, John Guernsey and two daughters, Mrs. C.H. Force and Miss Julia A Guernsey of North East. The bearers were grandsons and nephews, Samuel R Guernsey, John W Guernsey, Brandt Conklin and Charles Willson.
