Bruce Wilson McEwin, age 94, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Born in Stratford, Son of the late Wilson and Mabel (Hutchison) McEwin. Survived by his first wife Janette (Sackett) McEwin and predeceased by his second wife Sandra McEwin. Proud and loving father of Neal (Gabrielle), Michael (Janet), Duane (Valerie), Scott (Sandra) and his stepdaughters Rhonda (Vee) Kuczewski and Krista Becker. Grandfather to 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Bruce will be remembered by his sister-in-law Lois McEwin and his many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bruce was predeceased by his daughter Shari Dianne (September 2020), brothers Raymond, Jim, Jack and his sisters Lillian and Peggy. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Avondale Cemetery (meet just over the bridge, off of Avondale Ave. at 1:15 p.m.) on Tuesday May 17, 2022, followed by a celebration of Bruce's life from 3-5 p.m., in the reception centre of the W.G. Young Funeral Home. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada www.diabetes.ca or the Canadian Cancer Society www.cancer.ca through the W. G.
