JACOB H. GRIESS
ASHLAND -- Jacob H. Griess, 75, died at his home, 621 West Walnut St., early Sunday. Born in Alsace, Germany, Mr. Griess had lived in Ashland country (sic) for the past 63 years. He was a retired laborer, a member of the Trinity Lutheran church and the Modern Woodmen of America. Surviving is a sister. Mrs. Sop__ Rettig of Mansfield.
Services will be held at the Heyl funeral home 2 p. m. Tuesday with Dr. Harold H. Lentz, pastor of the Trinity church officiating. Burial will be in the Ashland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight. The family has requested flowers be omitted.
