Alfreda P. Eyerman
Alfreda P. Eyerman, 95, of Orchard West, Newberry Estate, Dallas, died Wednesday in her vacation home, Palm Beach, Fla.
She was born in Avalon, daughter of the late Albert and Nancy Katz Painter.
Mrs. Eyerman resided in Dallas since 1972, formerly residing in Kingston. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Kingston.
Her husband, Edward H. Jr; son, Edward H. III; grandson, Edward H. IV; sister, Wilda Cost, and brother, Albert, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter, Nancy E. Shubert, New York, N.Y.; three grandchildren.
Graveside funeral will be held at the convenience of the family in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. The Rev. David Laquintano, pastor, Grace Episcopal Church, will officiate.
Arrangements by Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Directors, Wilkes-Barre, Kingston, and Shavertown.

Private Services Friday For Edward H. Eyerman
Private funeral services for Edward H. Eyerman, 550 Meadowland Avenue, Kingston, will be conducted Friday morning at 11 at Homer E. Graham Funeral Home, 324 South Franklin Street.
Rev. Lyle E. Scott, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, end Rev. Ralph A. Weatherly, rector emeritus, will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.
Mr. Eyermen, well-known building contractor, died yesterday morning in University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, where he was a patient five weeks. His age was 67.
Born in Wilkes-Barre April 23, 1900, he attended city school and was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre High School, Class of 1918. He later attended University of Pennsylvania as an engineering student. Mr. Eyermen entered he employ of F. W. Woolworth Company and managed stores at Steelton, Homestead and Pittsburgh.
He joined his father, the late Edward Eyerman, in the general contracting business in 1924. He was a partner and owner with Henry Fein in the Gateway. Midway, Dundee Mountaintop, Back Mountain and Hazleton Shopping Centers.
In 1952, he was elected a dirertor of the Miners National Bank of Wilkes-Barre and in 1959 was named to the board of directors of Pennsylvania Gas and Water Company. Mr. tyermen was formerly a member of the Franklin Club and was currently a member of the Westmoreland Club.
He was active in the affairs of Grace Episcopal Church, Kingston, and served as a vestryman. Mr. Eyerman was affiliated with Masonic orders and was a member of Irem Temple Shrine. He was a member of the board of directors of the Contractors Association of Wyoming and served as its president for many years. Mr. Eyerman was active in civic and community affairs and served on the board of the United Fund since the inception of its predecessor, the Welfare Federation. He also served as president of the Association of the Blind for many years.
The general contracting business begun by Mr. Eyerman's father is now being conducted by his son, Edward Eyerman, 3rd.
Surviving are his wife, the former Alfreda Painter; his step-mother, Marie McNelis Eyerman, Wilkes-Barre; a son, Edward Eyerman, 3rd, Dallas: a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Shubert, New York City; a sister, Mrs. Robert J. Weber, Detroit, Mich.; a brother, Robert A. Eyerman, Bear Creek; a half-brother, Richard E. Eyerman, South River, N. J.; four grandchildren.

Edward Eyerman
Edward Eyerman 4th, 32, of Kingston Corners Building, Kingston, died Monday morning at his home following an illness.
Born in Kingston, July 7, 1953, son of Mrs. Ruth Tretheway Eyerman, Dallas, and the late Edward Eyerman 3rd, he lived in the Wyoming Valley most of his life. He was a graduate of Wyoming Seminary Day School and a 1971 graduate of Wyoming Seminary. Mr. Eyerman attended Florida Southern College and was graduated from Susquehanna University in 1976. He was a member of George M. Dallas Lodge F&AM 531, Caldwell Consistory and Irem Temple. Mr. Eyerman was a former member of Shavertown United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are daughter, Gretchen Marie Eyerman, Wilkes-Barre; brother, Donald D., Dallas; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Donald D. Tretheway, Dallas; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Edward Eyerman Jr., Dallas.
Private funeral services will be held from Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, 140 N. Main St., Shavertown, at the convenience of the family with Rev. James A. Wert, pastor of Shavertown United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
