Mrs. Catherine Ludlow, 82, Newberry, former resident of Port Huron and mother of James L. Ludlow, manager of the Chamber of Commerce, died Thursday in the home of her daughter, Mrs, Robert Hunter, Newberry, after a long illness. She is survived by three sons, William A. Ludlow, Pontiac, Archie C. Ludlow, Newberry, and James L. Ludlow, Pert Huron; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Congo, Flint, and Mrs. Robert Hunter, Newberry; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Falk's funeral residence. Rev. Austin K DuPlan, pastor of Grace Episcopal church, will officiate. Burial will be In Lakeside cemetery. Mrs. Ludlow was horn on Gray county, Ont., July 15, 1852. She came to Port Huron in 1887 and lived here until 12 years ago, when she moved to Newberry. She was a member of the Maccabees.
