RANDOLPH COUNTY MAN IS DEAD AT 82
Farmland, Ind., March 11.--Thomas H. James, 82, lifelong resident of Randolph county, died today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. True Gilpen, at Fort Recovery, O.
Surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. Bertha Butler, of here, and Mrs. Flossie Browse, of Winchester; two sons. Earl, of Farmland, and Maurice, of Modoc; two brothers, Samuel and Wesley, both of here, and five sisters. Mrs. May McNeese, Mrs. Jane Pegg and Mrs. Ella Pegg, all of Farmland: Mrs. Alice Moore, of Winchester, and Mrs. Ethel Mason, of Losantville.
Funeral services are to be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Cedar Church, with the Rev. George Addington and the Rev. Olive Harris officiating. Burial will be in the nearby cemetery. The body will be returned to the home of Earl James here Saturday morning from the Thomburg funeral parlors.

Cecil L. Brouse
WINCHESTER.--Cecil L. Brouse, 56 years old, a resident of 647 East Washington street, Winchester, died suddenly at his home about 2:30 o'clock Tuesday morning following a heart attack.
Mr. Brouse was born near Saratoga and opened a garage in Winchester with his brother Orval in 1922. Since that time, he and his brother have operated the garage and an automobile agency here. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Congregational Christian church and the Eastern Indiana Conference of that church.
Survivors are the widow. Flossie; a brother, Orval of Winchester; six sisters. Mrs. N. C. Taylor of near Deerfield, Mrs. William Polei and Mrs. S. M. Garringer of near Ridgeville, Mrs. Harold Retter and Mrs. Victor Clark of Winchester and Mrs. William Lowe of Union City; a step-sister, Mrs. Eugene Pugh of Winchester, rural route, and a step-brother, Earl Hardesty of near Ridgeville.
Funeral services for Mr. Brouse will be at 2 o'clock Thursday at the Congregational Christian church in charge of the Rev. Jacob Frazier and Rev. Leo McKinley with burial in Fountain Park cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the services. Until that time and after 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, friends may call at the residence.
