PLATTSBURGH ? Audrey J. Boyd, 73, of Rugar Street, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 3, 1939, the daughter of Everest and Evelyn (Macey) Gadway.
Audrey was a member of the Home Bureau for 27 years. She attended the Elizabeth Street School and Our Lady of Victory Academy.
Audrey married Raymond Boyd on Dec. 18, 1956 by Rev. Ball in Cumberland Head. On April 18, 1965, their marriage was blessed by Rev. Brisson, at Our Lady of Victory Church.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Boyd of Plattsburgh; six children, David Boyd and his companion, Christine Provost of Plattsburgh, Evan Boyd and his wife, Lynn of Plattsburgh, Tina LaFrance and her husband, Gregory of Plattsburgh, Cathy Boyd and her companion Rick Mangum of Dannemora, Lynn Boyd and her companion, Jim Hewson of Plattsburgh and Teri Lamb and her husband, Eric of Altona; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and an infant son, Kenneth Raymond Boyd.
There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, in Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
