Hites Wed In Michigan Ceremony
Following a three-week tour of Florida, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Hite are at home at Rt. 3, Ligonier. The couple was married Feb. 18 in the First Methodist Church, Bronson. Mich., with Rev. Lloyd Phillips officiating at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride, the former Miss Ruth Ann Gregg, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Gregg, Bronson. She is a graduate of Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Mr. Hite, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hite, Ligonier, was graduated from Ligonier High School.
For her wedding, Mrs. Hite wore a white silk linen and re-embroidered alencon lace ensemble. The dress was fashioned with a sleeveless Empire bodice of lace with a batteau neckline and an A-llne skirt of silk linen. Completing the ensemble was a long-sleeved coat styled with a Watteau train. Back interest was created oy a large self bow. She wore a fingertip veil of French illusion. Her crescent bouquet was of phaleanopsis orchids and white sweetheart roses.
Mrs. Jerry 0. Becker was her sister's matron of honor. She wore a pink silk crepe dress fashioned with a bateau neckline, elbow length sleeves and an A-line skirt. The Empire waistline was accented by a burgundy velvet bow. She wore a matching pink pillbox accented with a velvet bow.
Calvin Schlemmer, Howe, Ind., was the best man. Richard Gregg, brother of the bride, was the acolyte. Ushers were Samuel Patton Jr., Ligbnier, brother-in law of the bridegroom, and Michael Gregg, Bronson, brother of the bride.
