Lieut. Lautrup Will Wed Today
His Bride Is Dorothy Markham of Essex, Conn.
Miss Dorothy Elizabeth Markham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Markham of Essex, Conn, is being married today at 1 o'clock to George William Lautrup, Jr, U. S. N. lieutenant, junior grade, son of Mr. and Mrs. George William Lautrup of 33 Arden Place.
The wedding la taking place in New London, Conn. at the Second Congregational Church. After a short wedding trip, the bride and bridegroom will come to Yonkers for a visit to lieutenant Lautrup's parents before leaving for an Asiatic station where Lieutenant Lautrup will be on submarine duty for two-and-one-half years.
The bride, a graduate nurse, received her training at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in Connecticut.
Lieutenant Lautrup, a graduate of School Six and Gorton High School here attended Cornell University for a year and was graduated from Annapolis in 1934. He has just completed training at the Submarine School at New London.
