Mrs Rebecca Devitt
Funeral services for Mrs Rebecca Devitt were held at the Ong cemetery Tuesday with Elvin Olson of Hastings in charge.
Rebecca Jane Roberts was born April 2, 1849, in Bristol, O. She died October 9, 1941, at the age of 92 years, 13 months and 7 days. She passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Bush, at Inglewood, Cal. She was married to Finley Devitt June 13, 1869, at her home in Bristol, O. They lived many years at Ong, where Mr. Devitt was engaged in carpenter work. Mr. Devitt preceded her in death December 10, 1926.
To this union were born four children, Orian B. of Yauntsville, Wash., Charles M. of Seattle Wash., Etta of Inglewood, Cal., and Belle of Springfield, Mo. There are nine living grandchildren and one great grandson.
