Myron F. Smith. Babylon. Succumbs
Babylon--Myron F. Smith, lifelong resident of this village, died unexpectedly Saturday at the Southside Hospital. A printer by trade, and an active worker in church and lodge circles, he was 64.
He was a member of the Babylon Lodge, F. and AM, a Past Grand Noble o[ Sampawams Lodge, 104, an official on the Board of the Babylon Methodist Church where he also sang in the choir. taught Sunday School, and belonged to the Men's Club, and a member of the Oritorio Society of Carnegie Hall. While with the latter group he sang in all its concerts of 1921 and 1922.
He is survived by his widow, Grace A. Smith; two daughters, Mrs. Constance Hulcher, Babylon, and Mrs. Olive Schmidt, Newport News, Va.; one son, Myron A. Smith, Babylon; and two grandchildren.
Funera1 Services will be held at the Mezroth Funeral Home tomorrow at 2:30 PM with the Rev. Norman O. Edwards of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Babylon Rural Cemetery,

SMITH--Myron Abbott, librarian with U.S. Department of Defense at Ft. McNair, D.C., for 16 years. Died Thurs., March 28, 1968, after a heart attack. 45 years old and lived at 1130 South 17th St., Arlington, Va. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Genevieve, daughters Donna Jean and Jane Elizabeth. Mother Mrs. Myron F. Smith of Babylon. Sisters Mrs. Constance Hulcher, Babylon, Mrs. Fred Schmidt, Newport News, Va. Memorial services were held Sunday at Episcopal Church, Alexandria, Va. Mr. Smith served 3 1/2 years during World War II and had been a member of the Babylon Methodist Church.

SMITH--ABBOTT. Babylon, L. I., June 8--Miss Grace Marshall Abbott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur C. Abbott of this village, was married to Myron Frederick Smith, son of Mrs. Evelyn Smith, at the home of the bride's parents, in Fire Island avenue, last evening. The Rev. Edward D. Bassett, pastor of tho Springfield ,M. E. Church, assisted by the Rev. S. Danforth Lewis, pastor of the Babylon M. E. Church officiated. The matron of honor was Mrs. William M. Muncie of Providence, R. I., and the best man was F. Hal Walker of Babylon. The bride wore a gown of white chiffon over mousseline, with pearl trimmings and carried a bouquet of bride roses. The matron of honor wore a gown of white satin trimmed with duchesse lace. Following a reception, the young couple departed upon a short wedding tour, at the conclusion of when they will reside in James street.
