Milton Sackett
FENNVTLLE, Feb. 18 -- Milton Sackett, 26, son of the Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Sachett (sic) of Fennvllle, died this morning in the Wyandotte General hospital, Wyandotte, Mich. He had undergone an emergency operation for appendicitis about a week ago and, according to word received here, complications developed following the operation.
His mother had gone to Wyandotte following the operation and his father and brother, Lawrence, of Fennvllle, were called there yesterday. He had been employed in Wyandotte.
He was born here and was graduated from Fennvllle high school. His wife was the former Ardlth Blenc of Fennville. In addition to his wife, parents and brother, he is survived by one child.
Whether the body will be returned here for funeral services was not known here this morning, as all members of his family were in Wyandotte.

Mrs. Linda L. Matts, age 75 of Croswell, passed away on April 21, 2023, at United Hospice of Marlette, with her family by her side.
She was born on May 5, 1947, in Wyandotte to the late Milton and Ardith Sackett.
Linda married Robert D. Matts Sr. on April 17, 1986, in Port Huron. She was a retired Collins-Aikman employee, and loved reading, gardening and hummingbirds. But more importantly, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert, daughter, Robin (Mark) Tokarski, three grandchildren, Corey Martin, Nicholas Groth and Kaitlyn Dulemba along with great-grandchildren and a brother, Douglas Konieczny.
Linda was preceded in death by her son, Brian Dulemba.
Services will be private. Cremation arrangements in care of, Jowett Funeral Home

Word has been received here from Wyandotte that Miss Ardith Blenc was married last Saturday in Detroit to Milton Sackett. The young people are the son and daughter of Mr; and Mrs. Lawrence Sackett, and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Blenc of Fennville. Both are graduates of the local high school, Mr. Sackett in 1940, and his bride in 1942.
