The Billings Gazette (Billings, Montana), 4 Jan 1970, page 8 George Naessig LEWISTOWN -- George M. Naessig, 82, of Lewistown, died Friday in San Diego, Calif., from natural causes. Mr. Naessig was born July 29, 1887, in South Dakota, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Naessig. He married Rose K. Kamps, April 14, 1912, in Webster, S.D. They ranched near Moore until 1956 when they moved to Lewistown. Mrs. Naessig died in 1964. He was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church and the Eagles Lodge. Survivors include two sons, Laurence, Lewistown, and Albert, El Cajon, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. A.F. Striminski, Santee, Calif., and Mrs. John B. Hardin,. San Diego, Calif.; one brother; two sisters and four grandchildren. Requiem mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Leo's Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited 8 p.m. Monday from Creel-Gurnette-Retz Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
