Mrs. Julia J. Pegg Services Monday
FARMLAND - Funeral services for Mrs. Julia J. Pegg, 86, widow of Francis M. Pegg, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the Thornburg Funeral Home in Farmland. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery south of Farmland. The Rev. N. H. Thornburg will conduct the services. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Pegg died Friday evening at her home six miles southeast of Farmland. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Zoa Whitehead, at home; Mrs. Gladys Thomas of Winchester and Miss Mary Pegg of Chicago; a son Thomas, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Pegg of near Winchester, Mrs. Mae McNeese of Farmland, and Mrs. Ernest Mason of Blanchester, O.; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Her husband died in 1932.

Mary M. Pegg
FARMLAND, Ind. - Mary M. Pegg, 89, died after a long illness Sunday in Randolph County Hospital. She was a resident of Chrystal's Country Home and formerly of 308 N. Morris St.
She was born in Randolph County and retired in 1962 after 20 years with the U.S. Postal Service in Chicago.
Survivors include three nieces, Christina Steiner, Farmland, Maeodine Lawrence, Winchester, and Mary Lou Johnson, Albuquerque, N.M., and two nephews, Charles L. Pegg, Redkey, and Marvin Whitehead, Winchester.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Gladys Thomas and Zoa May Whitehead; and three brothers, Alvie Pegg, Thomas D. Pegg, and Marion James Pegg.
Private services will be Wednesday in Thornburg Funeral Home with burial in Buena Vista Cemetery, south of Farmland.
There will be no public calling hours.
