Glenyth Boardman Johnson Eich died Monday, August 18, 2003, at her home in Fallbrook, at age 89. She lived in Fallbrook with her daughter for two years.
She was born September 10, 1913, in Lakeport, CA, and lived in Lake County for 53 years. Then she moved to Eureka, CA, and lived there for 34 years.
Glenyth was active in the Historical Societies in both Lake and Humboldt Counties.
Her first husband, Walter Eich, preceded her in death in 1963; and her second husband, Wilfred Johnson, in 1999.
Glenyth is survived by her sister, Jean Erickson of Kansas; her son, Wilfred Johnson of Utah; daughters, Beatrice Breslin of Fallbrook, Nita Walsh of Eureka, and Jean Hinman of Eureka; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is Grandma Gee Gee.
The family suggests donations to Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest Street, Escondido, CA 92025, your local Hospice, or Parkinson's Foundation.
Services were held Friday, August 22, 2003.
Sanders Funeral Home in Eureka is handling the arrangements.
