Thomas M. Walsh Jr.
DANVERS -- Thomas M. Walsh Jr., 61, of R.R. 2 died at 11:20 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 16, 1984) at Mennonite Hospital, Bloomington, after a five-week illness.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Carmody Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church, both in Bloomington, the Rev. Vincent Dietzen officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
He was born Feb. 28, 1923, in Bloomington, a son of Thomas M. and Hazel Sackett Walsh. He married Madeline C. Glaser May 21, 1945, in Bloomington. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Thuuias X. Walsh Sr., and John P. Walsh, both of Danvers; three daughters, Rozann Jordan, Bloomington; Marcia Bill, Gridley; and Marilee Tuttle, Paducah, Ky.; two brothers, William A. Walsh, Bloomington, and John E. Walsh, Arleta, Calif.; three sisters, Mary A. Walsh, Washington, D.C.; Martha Gillis, Danvers; and Joan Dennis, Taylorville; and 10 grandchildren.
A sister and a granddaughter preceded him in death.
Mr. Walsh was an Air Force veteran of World War II and a partner in the Walsh and Walsh Construction Co.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Church.
