Nora V. Hamrick, 86, route 1, Willshire, Ohio, died at 1:20 p.m. Monday at her residence, following an extended illness.
She was a charter member of Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene. Born in Blue Creek Township on Feb. 8, 1900, she was the daughter of Samuel L. and Myrtle Scoles-Frank, and was married Feb. 28, 1923 to Samuel L. Hamrick; they were married 63 years. She resided in Mercer County since 1933.
Survivors include the husband; eight children, Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Luginbill, route 3, Decatur; Mrs. Lindy L. (Norma) Lybarger, North Manchester; Mrs. Thomas L. (Carolyn) Baker, Chattanooga, Ohio; Charles E. Hamrick and Victor L. Hamrick, both of Decatur; Clarence L. Hamrick, route 1, Willshire; Duane J. Hamrick, route 1, Rockford, Ohio; Paul R. Hamrick, route 2, Monroeville; one sister, Mrs. Herman (Neva) Kuhn, Fort Wayne; a brother, John Wesley Frank, Fort Wayne; 53 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
