THOMAS W DEAL, SR.
Thomas Wesley Deal Sr., 70, Independence, died Dec. 2, 1994, at the home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the South Crysler Restoration Branch; burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the church. Mr. Deal was born in Indianapolis and lived in this area most of his life. He worked for Western Electric for 24 years, retiring as a design engineer in 1981. He was a member and an elder of the church. He was Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Eugenia Annette Deal of the home; four sons, Thomas W. Deal Jr., Las Vegas, Rick A. Deal, West Palm Beach. Fla., Christopher W. Deal. Liberty, and Stanley B. Deal. Lee’s Summit; a brother, Floyd R. Deal Jr., Independence; a sister, Dorothy B. Allen Blue Springs and eight grandchildren.

passed away Monday May 28, 2007, at his residence,
Floyd was born June 8, 1922, in Indianapolis,Ind.,
to Mildred (Havens)and Floyd R.Deal SR.
He grew up in Buffalow, N.Y. graduating from
Fosdick Masten High School in 1941.
The owned and operated the Deal Engineeing and
Machine Co. Inc. from 1972 until present.
He enjoyed travling abroad. He was a member of
the East Alton Coummunity of Chridt Church.
He was married to June (Adams)on Nov. 26,1942,
she survives of the home.
Other survuvors include three daughters,
Barbara Spies and husband Jerry of Independence,
Susan Templeton and husband George, of Lake
St. Louis, Mo.,and Nancy Wion of Independence;
a sister Dorothy Allen of Blue Springs,MO;
seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preced in death by a son Floyd R. Deal III,
1998,a Brother
Thomas Deal, a son-inlaw Leslie Wion, and
grandson Eric Wion.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday,June 2,

will be in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence,
