      Oreta Hinshaw, Paul Burnham Engaged to Wed

      The engagement of Miss Oreta Faye Hinshaw, 1448 Chautauqua, to Paul Burnham is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hinshaw, Rose Hill, Kan. Mr. Burnham is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Burnham, Rose Hill.

      Their wedding will be March 29 at Rose Hill Friends Church.

      Miss Hinshaw is a graduate of Rose Hill High School and Wesley Hospital School of Nursing.

      Mr. Burnham is also a graduate of Rose Hill High School and attended Friends University. He is now serving with the Army at Fort Bragg, N.C.

      LOWELL HINSHAW, 86, of Rose Hill, retired farmer and school custodian, died Monday. Service 2 p.m. Thursday, Rose Hill Friends Church.

      Survivors: wife Dollie; son Galen of Emporia; daughter Oreta Burnham of Baguio City, Phillipines (sic); sister Esther Reyer of Longmont. Colo.; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with Rose Hill Friends Church Building Fund. Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, Douglass.
