She attended Clearwater Christian Church in Florida and Asbury United Methodist Church. She was a member of Christian Women's Club and Helping Hands Extension Homemakers Club. Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, with the Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Satruday. Burial will be a Garland Brook jCemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Red Croll. Mrs. Seegers was born in Smithville,, N.Y., March 3, 1923, the daughter of Leon S. and Margaret M. Parker Sackett. She married Garnet W. Seegers Feb 18, 1942, in Adams Center, N.Y. He died March 29, 1997. Surviving are sons, William L. Seegers of Westport and Gary P. Seegers of Columbus; a daughter, Kyra Bode of Columbus; grandchildren, Kevin Carothers and Elizabeth Seegers, both of Indianapolis, Bill G. Seegers of Nashville and Matt Carothers, Becky Smallwood, Andrew Seegers, Nichole Clipp and Leslie and Corey Seegers, all of Columbus; a brother, George Sackett of Bullhead, Ariz.; a sister, Ida Jewett of Watertown, N.Y.; and seven great-grandchildren. she was preceded in death by twin Grandchildren, Michelle and Michael Seegers.
