Mrs. Sarah Merrick Of Friendship Dies; Monday Funeral Set
FRIENDSHIP -- Mrs. Sarah P. Merrick, 70, of E. Main Friendship, died early this morning at Cuba Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Forrest Merrick.
A native of Duke Center, where she was born Aug. 9, 1888, she was the daughter of Samuel Phillips and Mary Wilkins Phillips.
Mrs. Merrick was a member of the, Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Philip of Burghill, )., and Frank of Hubbard, one daughter, Mrs. Jeannette Snyder of Arkport, N.Y., 1 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one brother, Ralph B. Phillips of Jamestown.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home, Friendship, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Martz Snyder of the Friendship Church will officiate. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship.
