The Bridgeport Times and Evening Farmer (Bridgeport, Connecticut), 11 Jan 1915, Page 4
A large wedding of unusual interest, in Jewish circles of the city, was performed last night at the Casino on State street where Miss Henrietta Sackett, daughter of Mrs. Irene and the late Samuel Sackett, was married to Mr. Norman E. Positl. Rabbi WilHam Wittenstein performed the ceremony.
A large number of friends came from Montreal, Philadelphia, New York, Chicago and Providence to attend the ceremony.
Miss Jessie Saekett sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Sarah Kane, Miss May Weinstein, Miss Anna Silverstein and Miss Sarah Weiner. Mark Weinstein was best man and the groomsmen were Carl Lazarovttz, Benjamin Bressler, Benjamin Weinstein, and Benjamin Lazarovitz.
The groom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Postl of 400 Grand street, is in the grocery business. The bride, who was formerly employed by the W. T. Grant company, has lived with her mother at 44 Highland avenue.
The guests made merry at dancing and other festivities until an early hour of the morning. After the wedding trip to Boston and other places of interest, Mr. and Mrs. Postl will welcome their friends at their new home, 417 East Main street.
