Michael Duane Wood infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Duane (Hazel) Wood, 405 Hickory Lane, died at Ball Hospital early Thursday morning a few hours after birth.
Surviving besides the parents are a brother, Max, and a sister, Debra, both at home; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Wood and J.W. Gentry, all of Muncie; and the great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wood of Farmland.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Elm Ridge Cemetery by the Rev. J. Thomas Hodson, assistant pastor of High Street Methodist Church. Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary prior to services Saturday.
