ANDERSON, Ind. -- Rachel Pauline See, 4-month-old daughter of Glenn and Julie James See, died Friday morning in Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Tex., after an illness of 2 weeks.
Surviving besides the parents are the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rex James, Anderson; her great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claron James, Farmland and Lucille Wright, Parker City; her great-great-grandmother, Hurma Parker, Parker City, and an aunt and two uncles.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, with Rev. C.H. Cox officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Buena Vista Cemetery, south of Farmland.
Calling hours at the funeral home are after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be directed to Texas Children's Hospital, Houston, Texas, or to National Children's Eye Care, Washington, D.C.

We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2022, at the age of 84, Meredith Ann James of Anderson, Indiana, born in Richmond, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Myron Wright and Edna Lucille Wright (Hutchins); her husband Rex V. James; her sister Mary Jane Wright; her grandparents, Ira Mack, Lillie Wright and Hurma Parker (Schaefer); and her granddaughter Rachel Pauline See.
She is survived by : her children, Julie Kay Craig (Robert) of Anderson and J. Eric James of Keller, Texas; her brother Mack Wright (Judy) of Farmland; her grandchildren, Joseph Champagne (Ashley) of Fortville, Caelen Craig of Anderson and Alexander; her nephews, Chad Wright (Jana) of Farmland, Ted Wright (Jeni) of St. Michael, MN and Jeremy Wright (Cathy) of Wabash; her sister-in-law Clarice Lee (Richard) of Daniel Island, SC; and her cousins, Tom James (Anita) of Parker City and Mindy Brammer (Lee) of Farmland. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, cousins.

Rex Vernon James of Anderson, was born April 15, 1937 to Malcolm Claron and Mary Frances (Moore) James at the former Randolph County Hospital. He graduated from Stoney Creek High School in 1955, and joined the Army in July 1956. After serving basic training at Ft Hood, Texas, he served at Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Ft. Polk, Louisiana before being sent for a year of duty in the Panama Canal Zone. Rex was very patriotic and proud to have served his country. On December 26, 1956 Rex and Meredith Ann (Mick) Wright were united in marriage by the late Reverend Harvey Thornburg. They are the parents of Julie Kay (Robert) Craig of Anderson, and J. Eric (Christie) James of Southdale, Texas. Grandparents of AJ Champagne, Caelen Craig and Alex James. Rex was employed by the Indiana State Highway Department in Indianapolis, Overmyer Mould in Winchester, and Duffy Tool in Muncie before working as a tool designer and engineer for Guide Division of General Motors for 26.5 years, retiring in 1993. Not quite ready for retirement, he worked for Jarrett Engineering until 2000. Rex was past president of the Stoney Creek Alumni Association, and continually active in the organization. He also was an officer, manager and coach of several teams at the former Franklin Little League. He was a past member of American Legion Post 127. Rex is survived by his mother, his wife of 57 years, children, grandchildren and sister, Clarice Anne (Richard) Lee of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Earl & Verle James, Clyde and Pearl Moore, and infant granddaughter Rachel See.
