      Mrs. McKay, 81 Taken By Death

      Mrs. Ellen Greenlee McKay, 81, 214 East Madison street, died Monday at 5 a.m. in St. Joseph's hospital. She had been in failing health for the past seven years.

      Born July 12, 1872, in Belvidere, she was the daughter of Charles and Ellen Ferguson Greenlee and was educated in this city. Her marriage to William F. McKay took place April 27, 1893 in Chicago.

      For some time, the couple lived in LaGrange. They moved to Belvidere 10 years ago, after McKay's retirement. The deceased was a member of the First Presbyterian church and the missionary society and circle of the church. ''

      Surviving are the husband; two sons, John G. of Rockville. Md., and Clarence W. of Jackson, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret M. Wilson of Tampa, Fla., and. Mrs. Ruth M. Perry, Kenmore, N.Y. one sister, Miss May Greenlee, Belvidere; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, James, one daughter, Martha, and three brothers, William, John and James Greenlee.

      Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday In the Witbeck-Wheeler-Sabien funeral home with Dr. Ray Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Park-Holm cemetery, LaGrange.

      Friends may call at the funeral home.
