Death Takes Ida McKay
Miss Ida O. McKay, 815 South Main street, died at 12:35 a.m. Thursday in Highland hospital. She was 94 years old. Death follows an illness of a few days.
Miss McKay was born Nov. 3, 1865 in Lockport. She moved to Belvidere from Chicago in 1951.
Survivors include a brother, William F. McKay of Kenmore, N.Y., one nephew, Clarence W. McKay, Jackson, Miss.; and four nieces, Mrs. Ruth Perry, Kenmore, Mrs. Mildred Nixon, Arlington Heights, Mrs. Lynn Waldorf, Berkeley, Calif., and Mrs. Margaret Wilson, Tampa, Fla. Two brothers and one sister preceded Miss McKay in death.
Dr. Ray Turner will officiate at funeral rites at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Witbeck-Wheeler-Sabien funeral home. Cremation will follow.
