She graduated from Edwards County High School in Albion, Ill., in 1959 and Lockyear Business College. She worked as a secretary for GE for about six years before becoming a full-time homemaker. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church where she served aa secretary/treasurer of her Sunday school class and wedding coordinator. Marie loved traveling church activities, volunteer work, watching her children and grandchildren participate in sports, being with family and being around people. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Maude Miller, and her brother, Marvin Miller. Marie is survived by husband of 43 years, Robert D. Greek of Evansville, Ind.; daughters Melinda Green of Olathe, Kan., and Cynthia Sleziak of Evansville, Ind.; a son, Kevin Greek of Indianapolis, Ind.; and six grandchildren, Tyler Green of Olathe, Kan., Tanner Green of Olathe, Kan., Samuel Sleziak of Evansville, Ind., Sarah Sleziak of Evansville, Ind., Stephanie Sleziak of Evansville, Ind., and Stephen Sleziak of Evansville, Ind. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Road, officiated by the Rev. Spencer R. Downs and Rev. David Niednagel.
