Mark E. Christian, 83, of Bluffton, passed away Friday evening, Feb. 12, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mark was born on July 10, 1937, to George D. and Genevieve E. (Clark) Christian. Both parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Shelley Ehret of Novato, CA, and Lorri Reese of Marietta, GA; three sons, Clark Christian of Berne, Joel Christian of Decatur, and Matthew Christian of Byron Center, MI; along with eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Public visitation will be on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, at Goodwin ? Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, followed immediately by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Charlie Williams. The funeral service will be available to watch live via a Facebook Live link, which will be posted immediately before 11:00 AM on Thursday at the top of this obituary page. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery in Kokomo.
Visitors are required to wear masks during the visitation and funeral service at the funeral home. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.

A retired librarian at Bluffton High School, Genevieve E. Christian, 91, Bluffton, died at 2:57 a.m. Saturday, March 19 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
Born in Kokomo on Dec. 11, 1913 to George E. and Blanche F. Mercer Clark, she married George D. Christian on Dec. 16, 1935 in Lafayette; he died May 26, 1992.
She was a member of Hope Missionary Church and earned a masters degree from Ball State University. She had retired in 1980 after having served as the librarian at Bluffton High School for 26 years.
She is survived by a son, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton, with Matt Hartsell officiating. Calling hours are Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held Wed. at 1 p.m. at Crown Point Cemetery in Kokomo. Preferred memorials are to the church.
