BERNICE "GIGI" SACKETT
Bernice G. Sackett, 87, of Merrlam, KS, passed away November 24, 1996 at Trinity Lutheran Manor. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee; burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Kansas Cltv, KS. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Trinity Lutheran Manor, 9700 W. 62nd, Merrlam, KS 66203.
Bernice was born July 14, 1909. She was a member of the Seventh Street Methodist Church and the Turner Golden Age Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; daughter, Frances Sackett Graham; and son, David Michael. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Joan Sackett; grandchildren. Mark and Gretchen Sackett. San Francisco, CA, Matt and Angela Sackett, Kansas Cltv, MO, Michael Sackett, Kansas City, KS, and Mary and Jim Reffett, Olathe, KS; great-grandchildren, Megan, Corv and Kelsey Reffett, and Rachel and Erin Sackett; sister and brother-in-law Iona and Jesse Carmichael.
