The following obituary for George was published in the Trenton Evening Times on June 2, 1917. GEORGE J. GESEMYER Funeral services for George J. Gesemyer, well known rubber worker and lodgeman, who died yesterday, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at his late home, 1114 Hamilton Avenue. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, under direction of Poulson & Coleman. Mr. Gesemyer was 54 years old and is survived by his wife and eight children. He had been in ill health about five months during most of which time he was not able to attend to business duties. For a number of years he was employed as a foreman at the Ajax Rubber Mills.
