      Maynard B Morton
      Northampton, May 4 ? Maynard B Morton of 14 Olive St. died at his home yesterday. Born 78 years ago in New Germany, Nova Scotia, he was the son of Silas and Sarah Morton. A local resident for the past 55 years, he had worked as a locomotive engineer for the Boston & Maine Railroad for 40 years, retiring in 1942. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Train men. He leaves two daughters, Mrs E P Crafts of Jacksonville, Fla and Mrs Alice Murphy of this city; two brothers, Rupert of Worcester and Parker of Tangeree, Fla; a sister, Mrs Marian Eaton of Worcester; several brothers and sisters in Nova Scotia; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the Ahearn funeral home in Northampton Tuesday at 2. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
