Betty J. Bruhns
STREATOR -- Betty J. Bruhns, 48, of 219 11th St, Streator, died at 10:28 p.m. Saturday (May, 7, 1094) at St Mary's Hospital in Streator after a brief illness.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home, Streator. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from S to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born July 23, 1945, in Meredosia, she was the daughter of Melvin and Leona Waters Easley. She married Eugene Bruhns on Sept 6, 1963, in Denver. He survives.
Other survivors include her mother, Leona Montoya, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sons, Brian and Michael Bruhns, both of Streator; one daughter, Connie Bruhns, Streator; one grandson; two brothers, Elden Easley, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lee Easley, Denver; and one sister, Christine Munson, Tampa, Fla.
Her father, a brother and a stepbrother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bruhns lived in Streator most of her life. She formerly managed the Dollar General stores in Ottawa and Streator.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
