      Ray Kuns Married Today

      Ray Kuna was today married to Miss Anna Chloe Ashby of Lincoln the ceremony being performed at the bride?s home. Only a few friends and relatives were present. After the wedding dinner was served at noon Mr. and Mrs. Kuns made preparations for a wedding trip to Denver and Colorado Springs where they will spend three weeks after which they will return to Broken Bow to live.

      Mr. Kuns is one of the popular officials with the Broken Bow State Bank/ He is a young man of known integrity and worth. His wife is a charming young lady of Lincoln whom he has known for years. The Republican joins in the wish that their lives may be filled with much happiness.

      Last Rites for Cloe A. Kuns

      Cloe A. Kuns was born March 5, 1885, at Genoa, Nebr. She was the daughter of Abram C. and Elizabeth Childers Ashby, and died at Broken Bow on Nov. 29, 1962.

      She was married on June 7, 1911 at Lincoln to Ray S. Kuns. They moved to Broken Bow to make their new home. To this union were born twins Robert Ashby and Jean Elizabeth.

      She was a member of the Methodist church; charter member of General George A. Custer D.A.R.; Chapter S, P.E.O.; and a 50-year member of Arrow Chapter, O.E.S.

      Mrs. Kuns was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and brother; and her husband. She leaves to mourn her passing Robert and Ailene Kuns of Aberdeen, Washington; Selden and Jean Wenquist, Robert C. Kuns, Judith L. Wenquist, Dorothy J. Wenquist, and Roger S. Wenquist.

      Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Frank Kirtley on Dec 1 at the Schneringer-Johnson & Govier Brothers funeral home in Broken Bow. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Allan Black and Mrs. Paul Collicott with Mrs. Ralph Thompson at the organ.

      Pallbearers were Guy Armstrong, Tom Moran, Elmer Dorris, Willard Still, Dale Baker, and M. L. Ballard. Interment was in the Broken Bow cemetery.
