Learns Grandson Reported Missing
Word was received last Saturday by Mrs. Albert L. Klapp of 715 South Anderson street that her grandson, T-Sgt. Ruymond Klapp, is missing in action after a mission over Germany November 22.
T-Sgt. Klapp enlisted two yeurs ago from his home In Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He was a member of the 15th Army Air force based in Italy.
A letter was received from the missing airman after Thanksgiving in which he expressed a great satisfaction with his work and in his association with the 13th Army Air Force. He also wrote that he had received two presidential citations.
T-Sgt. Klapp is s nephew of Mrs. Ray Striker of 1830 Main street. He has a brother, Staff Sergeant Burton Klapp, who is in the Army Air Corps.

Former Real Estate Man Here Dies At 79
CUYAHOGA FALLS--Earl J. G. Lovett, 79, a former widely known real estate broker and insurance man here, died Friday in the Elyria Methodist Home after surgery.
Mr. Lovett. who also formerly was in business in Cleveland, at one time was general agent of the American United Life Insurance Co. for Akron with offices in the Akron Savings & Loan Bldg.
HE WAS a native of Alliance. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Elyria and formerly was a member of the First Methodist Church and its Friendly Bible Class in the Falls. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
Mr. Lovett leaves his wife, Hazel; two stepsons, Raymond and Burton Klapp of the Falls; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Quick of Alliance; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services are being arranged at the Dickens Funeral Home in Elyria.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p. m. today at Clifford Funeral Home, 1930 Front at., Cuyahoga Falls, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday, by Rev. Edward Thorn. Military rites by the American Legend Charles Faust Post No. 281. Interment Oakwood Cemetery (Clifford, 928-2147).

Raymond C. Klapp
CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Raymond C. Klapp, 62, of 109 Mt. Pleasant Blvd., Irwin, Pa., passed away Jan. 3 following a long illness.
Mr. Klapp was born in Akron, and lived in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life, moving to Irwin in 1965. He was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School in June, 1941, served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, and was a prisoner of war. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Harrison City, Pa., and past commander and life member of American Legion Post 281. He was a retired school bus driver for Congawart Bus Lines in Irwin, Pa.
He is survived by wife, Stella; daughters, Mrs. John (Rebecca) Brammell of Irwin, Pa., Mrs. Michael (Kathleen) O'Halloran of North Huntingdon, Pa., Mrs. Richard (Cynthia) Freeman of Jeanette, Pa., Mrs. Daniel (Susan) Brown of Hempfield Township, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Clifford Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dr. Forrest J. Waller officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by American legion Post 281. (Clifford, 928-2147.)
