Robert A. Eatherton
Robert A. Eatherton, 77, Rapid City, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 1997, at his home.
Survivors include three brothers, Harold Eatherton, Edgewood, Wash., William Eatherton, Rapid City, and James Eatherton, Whitewood; and a sister, Eva Peak, Sandpoint, Idaho.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, with the Rev. Howard Smith officiating.

Harold G. Eatherton
Born: April 10, 1917 Joined his wife on February 8, 2008 Harold was born in Tyndall S.D. to Fred and Anna Eatherton, being the 3rd of 8 children. His life accomplishments include Serving on the Civilian Conservation Corps in S.D. He ran a successful dairy farm in Buckley and Puyallup. He loyally served on the Grange in Puyallup, As well as sold insurance for them. He also served on The Buckley School Board for many years. He is preceded in death by his wife Alice, his daughter Nelle, borthers, Vernon, Raymond and Robert, and sister Elsie who died in infancy. He is survived by son, Charles, borthers William of Rapid City S.D., Jim of Whitewood S.D. and sister Eva Peak of Sandpoint, ID. Other survivors include 4 grandsons, 10 nieces, and 3 nephews. In lieu of flowers you can send donations to the flood victims or a charity of your choice. No services will be held by his request.

Raymond Eatherton
UPTON, Wyo. -- Services for Raymond "Pappy" Eatherton, 69, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Upton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Greer officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of McColley Funeral Home of Newcastle.
A memorial has been established to the Methodist Church and the Upton Ambulance Fund.
Eatherton died of cancer Monday at Rapid City (S.D.) Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 29, 1914, at Tyndall, S.D., to Fred and Anna Eatherton. When he was 15, his family moved to Whitewood, S.D., following the death of his mother.
He worked for two years with the Civilian Conservation Corps in South Dakota and later worked on the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington state. He moved to Upton in 1940, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He worked in oil fields from 1957 until his retirement.
He married June Mellor on May 31, 1941, at Sundance.
He is survived by his wife, June, Upton; two sons, Jim of Upton and Jack of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; one daughter, Teri Ann Goddard, of Lusk; four brothers, Bob and Jim of Whitewood, S.D., Bill of Denver, Colo., and Harold of Puyallup, Wash.; one sister, Eva Peak of Sand Point, Idaho; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
