Atkins Minton, 83, Indianapolis, died Monday in Winona Hospital. Mrs. Minton was a secretary many years for Christ Church Episcopal Cathedral. She was retired. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and its St. Ceceilia's Guild. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Indianapolis Retirement Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dayspring Center for the Homeless in care of Trinity Church or the American Heart Association. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Trinity Church. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Flanner & Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. She was the widow of the Rev. Chester G. Minton.
