Elmer L. Baker
OROFINO, Idaho -- Elmer L. Baker, 60, a Fraser farmer, died Saturday at Clearwater Valley Hospital of a heart attack.
He was born June 20, 1907, at Deary and moved to Fraser in 1920. He graduated from the old Cottonwood High School at Fraser and farmed in that area. At one time he was a mail carrier for about four years.
He was a member of Fraser Grange.
Survivors include his wife, Opal, at the home; a son, Lt. Kenneth Baker, in the Navy; a brother, Lloyd Baker, Orofino, and four sisters, Mrs. Verdie Converse and Mrs. Beatrice Smolinski, both of Orofino; Mrs. Goldie Snyder, Weippe, and Mrs. Vera Kellberg, Spokane.
The funeral-will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Gilbert's Funeral Chapel, Orofino, with the Rev. Ray L. Whitlow of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at noon at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens, Lewiston.
