The Daily Inter Lake (Kalispell, Montana), 19 Aug 1973, Page 2 John Johnson Dies In Bigfork John Johnson, 81, 1906 Fifth Ave, E., died Friday in Bigfork. He was born November 15, 1891, in North Dakota where he received his education. He lived in eastern Montana for a time and in 1922 he moved to the Flathead Valley. He worked in the Somers Sawmill for 27 years and then was a custodian at Flathead High school until his retirement in 1960. He was married to Lettie Shephard and is now survived by her at the family home. He also is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Lester of Kalispell; brother, Archie Johnson of Dutton, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a,m. in Johnson Chapel with Bishop Keith Allred of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating. Interment will be in the Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
