SEQUEL
A Tradition Continued
For 10 years, William de Rham, stern teacher of dance and decorum for the children of East Coast society, carried on the five-century-old tradition of dancing master (Life, Feb. 4). Recently, Mr. de Rham died of a heart attack in New York. Two end-of-term parties scheduled in New York were cancelled. But when the time came to start the spring term in Palm Beach, the classes were held on schedule. The teacher was his wife and former assistant, Vera de Rham, carrying on the tradition of the dancing mater and of de Rham himself.
