Sackett, who taught cosmetology at Sacramento Junior College and later operated a beauty school. Mrs. Sackett who had suffered several strokes, died Thursday at the age of 90. A Sacramento resident since 1924, Mrs. Sackett started the cosmetology department at the junior colllege (sic) where she taught from 1939 until 1945, and later operated the Upthegrove Beauty School in downtown Sacramento. The Michigan native graduated from the University of Southern California and completed graduate work at the University of California Berkeley. Mrs. Sackett is survived by her sons, Gerald E. of Sacramento and Willard A. of Woodland; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was the widow of Willard A.
