George E. Borden
George E. Borden, 83, 2509 S. B St., died Tuesday morning at the Pinehurst Nursing Home after a long illness.
A native of Minnesota, he came here about 10 years ago from Grand Junction, Colo, and was a retired clothing salesman. From 1911 to 1913 Mr. Borden worked as a trail cowboy in Montana. His wife, Ethel A., died in April 1959.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Eastman of Richmond; two grandchildren; five great-granddaughters and nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Borden will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Klute-Beach-Henry Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Earl-ham Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to time of services Friday at the funeral home.
