ii. John Henry, b. August 5, 1772, at Lititz, Pa.; d. January 27, 1845, at Nazareth, Pa,; he was educated at the parochial school at Lititz, and learned gunsmithing with his father; subsequently sent to the shop of William Henry (who had been an apprentice of his father), at Nazareth, where he completed his trade; after his marriage settled at Lancaster, but in 1796 removed to Shippensburg, where he was successful in business; desiring to live among the Moravian brethern, he removed to Gnadenhuuten, O., but his health failing him, he returned to Pennsylvania, residing for a time in Warwick township, near Lititz, and finally, in 1816, to Nazareth, where he died; was twice married; he m., first, March 27, 1795, Barbara Hubley; d. at Nazareth, Pa.; dau. of Bernard Hubley, of Lancaster, Pa.; and had issue (surname Albright):
