Cheese Factory Head, R. H. Miller, Dead by Gunshot
APPLETON -- Robert H. Miller, 54, died at 10:30 Tuesday morning at his home of a self-inflicted rifle wound.
Coroner Bernard Kemps and Sheriff Robert Heinritz, Outagamie County, said he took his own life.
Miller, who owned and operated the South Greenville Cheese Factory for the past 25 years, was born Sept. 2, 1904, at East Bloomfield in the Town of Wolf River. Prior to purchasing the cheese factory he was employed by Marten's Dairy. Mr. Miller was a member of the Cheesemakers Association.
Besides his wife, Marie, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert Kargus, Menasha; Mrs. James Schilleman, Phoenix, Ariz., and Bonnie at home; one son, Gerald P. Miller, at home; one brother, Arthur Miller, Rt. 2, Fremont; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Larsen, Appleton, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 o'clock at Kessler Funeral Home by the Rev. O. Sommer, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Towns of Clayton and Greenville. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Friends may call at Kessler Funeral Home after o'clock Thursday afternoon.

Marlene Mae Hockers
1327 Traders Road, Menasha
Age 58, died Thursday, April 3, 1997 at her home. She was born July 6, 1938 to Marie (Petersen) Miller and the late Robert Miller. Marlene was raised in the Greenville area and was a Hortonville High School graduate. Following graduation, she resided in the Twin Cities. She is survived by two daughters: Lisa (Bret) Fischer, Greenville; Kelly (Daniel) Doucette, Larsen; a son, Steven (Tina) Schilleman, Wild Rose; her mother, Marie Petersen Miller; two sisters: Jean Miller, Oshkosh; Bonnie (William) Otto; a brother, Peter (Judy) Miller, six grandchildren: Erin and Eric Fischer, Tyler and Brittany Doucette, Andrea and Jacob Schilleman; a special friend, Mary Wheeler. She was preceded in death by ber father, Robert in 1959.
The family will receive friends at Westgor Funeral Home, Neenah from 4 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 1997. A memorial fund is being established.
Marlene loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was not just a mother and grandmother, but was our best friend.
We will miss you always.

Schilleman, James Jacob
James Jacob Schilleman, age 70, of King, WI, passed away Monday, January 1st, 2007, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home. He was born in New London, WI, on February 7, 1936, the son of Harry and Edith (Hoha) Schilleman. James was a 1954 graduate of Washington High School, New London. He enlisted in the Army Reserves on February 7, 1953, and was honorably discharged as PFC on July 14, 1954. James enlisted in the U.S. Navy on July 20, 1954, and was honorably discharged as a Seaman on April 1, 1959. He served on the USS Uvalde in California, Alaska, and Japan. He was a truck driver for 4X in Neenah for 15 years and was a custodian at the Sugar Bush School. Jim enjoyed playing the alto saxophone and drums. I le married Marlene Miller on April 11, 1959. She preceded him in death.
Jim is survived by children: Lisa (Bret) Fischer, Greenville; Scott (Patty) Werth. Appleton; Kerri (Garry) Schrambeck, Lake Villa, IL; Meghan (Paul) Smeenge, Elgin, IL; Lisa (James) Hazouri, Keystone Heights. FL; grandchildren: Erin and Eric Fischer; Andrea and Jacob Schilleman; Melissa, Amber, and Katclyn Werth; Kaitlyn, Mitchell, Harrison and Casey Schrambeck; Tiffany, Christian and Donna-Faith Hazouri; great-grandchildren: Gabriel Steve-Owen Bowen and Michael James Schilleman; sister, Shirley (Paul) Vance, Hortonville; nephews: Charlie Vance; Andy (Lori) Vance; niece: Sara Vance. Jim is further survived by aunts: Rosemary Braun, Markesan; Lucena Clavette, Antigo; uncle: Jake Schilleman, Wabeno; and fourteen first cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Steven James.
A funeral service with military honors will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2007, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home - Main Chapel. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Farmington, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the Main Chapel from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home for their kindness, care and concern for Jim for the past two years.

Candlelight Rites to be Read at Greenville
in a candlelight ceremony at 7:30 p.m. tonight, . Miss Marlene M. Miller, route 1, Appleton, and James J. Schilleman, Hortonville, will repeat wedding vows before the Rev. Orvin Sommer at Immanuel Lutheran church, Greenville.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Miller, route 1, Appleton, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Schilleman, Hortonville.
The bride will be escorted to the altar by her father for the double ring service. Her sister, Bonnie, route l, Appleton, will be honor aid (sic) and Mrs. Paul Vance, Hortonville, sister of the bridegroom, will be bridesmaid.
Mr. Vance will serve as best man and Peter Miller, route 1, Appleton, brother of the bride, will be groomsman. Ushers will be Robert Kargus, Neenah, brother-in-law of the bride, and Kenneth Smith, Green Bay, cousin of the bridegroom.
A reception at the American Legion clubhouse, New London, will be held after the ceremony from 9 to 11 p.m.
The couple will honeymoon enroute to Phoenix, Ariz., where they will reside.
The bride is a graduate of Hortonville High school, and prior to her nuptial. was employed by Aid Association for Lutherans. Mr. Schilleman
graduated from Washington High school, New London, and was recently discharged after a 6-year tour of duty in the navy.
