He was united in marriage to Emily Jane Corlew at Walshville, Ill., April 6, 1865, and to this union ten children were born, four dying in infancy. A daughter, Mrs. Blanche Henson, died in Stillwater in 1928. Five surviving children are Elmer W. Sackett, Pawnee; Mrs. Geneva McPhail, Ripley; Jasper P.
