Harvey H. Hanners, 68, Rural Route #5, Austin, died Wednesday morning, June 18, 1997, at the Austin Medical Center.
He was born may 27, 1929 in West Concord, Minn., to Wilbur and Iva (Sackett) Hanners. He attended school in West Concord. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. After that he attended one year of vocational school for auto mechanics.
He married Beverly Midison, July 26, 1957, at the First Baptist Church in Austin. They lived in Austin until 1961 when they moved to their farm where they have lived since. He had been employed at Wueen Stove, then American Can Company, and has farmed throughout most of his life. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Austin.
He is survived by wife, Beverly Hanners, Austin; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Stanley Prins, Owatonna. Melody Hanners and Craig Harpuder, Maplewood, Minn., Yvonne and Michael Lennon, Owatonna; and four grandchildren; and sister, Verna Davis, Sargeant.
He was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Brenda Lou; step-sister, Faye Mosher and borther-in-law, Laurel Davis.
