He was very active in the Rockville community, volunteering with school sports events, Parke Co. Covered Bridge Festival, and church. He loved playing golf, and watching all kinds of sports. 'Chuck', as many called him, had four children and five grandchildren. Children: Teresa Jill Spangler, Tracy Jo Spangler-Bertram, Tamara(Tami)Sue Spangler, and Todd C. Spangler. Grandchildren: Christopher Clay Bertram, Olivia Rae Bertram, Savannah Grace Bertram, Drake Charles Spangler, and Jade Elizabeth Spangler. He was preceded in death by his grandson Christopher Clay Bertram who died shortly after birth. Chuck had an infectious laugh, and a great sense of humor. He loved his family deeply, and held his friends close to his heart.
