      Elizabeth Busch Dies in Cyprus

      Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in Spearfish for Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett Busch, who died Oct. 18 in Cypius where she and her husband had lived for several years.

      The final rites were held at the All Angels Episcopal Church with Rev. Gilbert Armstrong officiating. Organ music was played by Wallace Velte.

      Pallbearers were Dr. Russell E. Jonas, Cecil Haight, Mark Richmond, Dr. B. S. Clark, James Nelson, all of Spearfish and Ralph Stordahl, Rapid City. Interment was in the Rosehill cemetery under the direction of the Fidler Funeral Chapel. PEO services were conducted by the Spearfish chapter Thursday evening.

      Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett Busch, former resident of Spearfish, died Friday at Nicosia, Cyprus, where she and her husband, safety director for Cyprus Mines Inc., had lived for several years.

      Mrs. Busch was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett who taught at the Black Hills Teachers College and in the Spearfish school system.

      She was born Dec. 7, 1904 in Illinois and attended Black Hills Teachers College, graduating from the University of Illinois.

      Following her marriage to W. Dinon Busch, they lived in California where he taught in various schools before going to Cyprus. She is survived by her husband and a brother John Bennett, West Chicago, Ill.

      BENNETT-BCSCH

      A romance which began when both were students at the University of Illinois had its culmination today in a pretty wedding when Miss Elizabeth Clare Bennett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bennett of Spearfish, became the bride of Dinon Busch of San Diego, Cal., at a ceremony performed at 1 o'clock at the Bennett home, the wedding lines being read by the Rev. Fr. Sobolewski, pastor of the Catholic parish at Spearfish. The bride, frocked in dainty white, was attended by the Misses Anita Hahn and Katherlne Booth and the bridegroom was attended by John Bennett, brother of the bride, and Maurice Tedrow, of Akron, Ohio.

      A buffet luncheon was served immediately after the ceremony, following which the newlyweds departed by motor for San Diego, Cal. Mr. Busch is a member of the high school faculty at Henet (sic), Cal. His bride recently returned from Hawaii where she taught school the past two years. She is a graduate of the Black Hills Teachers college and both she and her husband are graduates of the University of Illinois.

      Those present at the wedding included: Mrs. Stella Busch, mother of the bridegroom, San Diego, Cal.; W. F. Sloan, superintendent of schools at Spearfish; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Hahn and family, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Humbert, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Toomey and family, Mr. and Mrs. James P. O'Neill, Jr., Mrs. Henry Weare, Mrs. Harvey Douglas and daughter, Shirley Ann, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Booth, all of Spearfish, and Miss Catherine Hine, Detroit, Michigan.
