Nelson L/ Crafts
AVON PARK. Fla.- Nelson L. Crafts. 69. formerly of Northampton, died yesterday at Winterhaven Hospital here after a long illness. He was the husband of Ada E. (Cranson) Crafts.
He was born in Whately, Dec. 27, 1907. His parents were the late Allen and Mary (Atkinson) Crafts.
Crafts worked as a tool and die maker for Olsely and Whitley.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Nelson, Robert, and Bruce Crafts, all of Northampton; two brothers, Harry and Elwood Crafts, both of Avon Park; and several grandchildren.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Fountain Funeral Home in Avon Park. The Rev Elmer L. Gregg will officiate. Masonic services will be conducted by Poinciana Lodge No. 227, F. & A.M.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 57 Pearl St., Springfield.

Ada E. Crafts
AVON PARK, Fla. -- Ada E Crafts, 86, of Avon Park, formerly of Northampton, died June 8 at The Oaks in Avon Park.
Born in Northampton April 16, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Anna (MeCaiman) Cranson.
Mrs. Crafts had worked as a drug store clerk in Northampton.
She moved from Northampton to Avon Park in 1972.
Her husband, Nelson Crafts, died in 1977.
She leaves two sons, Robert Crafts and Bruce Crafts, both of Northampton; six granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren.
Another son, Nelson E. Crafts, died in 1995.
Funeral services were held June 13 at the Fountain Funeral Home in-Avon Park.

AVON PARK -- Funeral services for Mrs. Ada E. Crafts, 86, of Avon Park, will be held Thursday, June 13, 11:00 A.M. in the Fountain Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Grodzinski officiating. She is survived by two sons, Bruce and Carlene Crafts, Northampton, MA, and Robert and Sylvia Crafts, Northampton, MA; one daughter in law, Helen Crafts, Avon Park; six granddaughters and eight great grandchildren.

HARRY A. CRAFTS, 86, of Avon Park, died Sunday. He was a 21-year resident from Buffalo,-N.Y., a member of the Lutheran Church of Avon Park, Poinciana Lodge No. 222 F&AM, Royal Arch Mason, Knights Temple, Winter Haven Chapter No. 41, Commandery No. 37, a Shriner, American Legion Post 69 of Avon Park and a retired civil engineer.
He is survived by wife, Gertrude M.; a brother, Elwood of Avon Park; two sisters-in-law, Helen and Ada Crafts of Avon Park; and several nieces and nephews.
Fountain Funeral Home of Avon Park is in charge of arrangements.

Nelson Crafts
AVON PARK, Fla. -- Nelson E Crafts, 66, of Avon Park, formerly of Northampton, died Monday at home.
Born in Northampton March 3, 1929, he was the son of Ada Crafts of Avon Park and the late Nelson Luther Crafts.
He had moved to Florida from Northampton 17 years ago.
Mr. Crafts had worked as a senior program analyst for the Polk County Board of Commissioners in Florida.
He was a member of Poinciana Lodge 227 Free & Accepted Masons in Avon Park.
Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, Helen Crafts; and two brothers, Bruce Crafts and Robert Crafts, both of Northampton.
Masonic services will be conducted Saturday at Fountain Funeral Homo Park.
Cremation will follow.
